This page explains what Auto Restore Specialist collects when you ask us for an estimate or bring us a vehicle, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. It describes how the site and our systems actually work — not a general policy borrowed from somewhere else.

What we collect

When you request an estimate, you give us your name, phone number, and — if you choose to — your email address. You tell us the year, make and model of the vehicle, what kind of work you think it needs, and anything you want to add in your own words. You may attach photos of the damage.

When you book an appointment, our scheduling provider collects the time you picked and the contact details you enter there.

Once your vehicle is with us, we record the work as it progresses — the stage the repair is at, the VIN, and notes our staff make. We keep a record of every message we send you and every reply you send back.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your social security number, or your payment card details on this website.

How we use it

To give you an estimate, to do the repair, and to keep you informed while it happens. That is the whole list.

Your damage photos are analysed by an automated system to produce a rough price range before anyone has seen the vehicle. That analysis is performed by Google’s Gemini service. The range it produces is a starting point for a conversation, never a quote — see our Terms.

Photos are stored privately. They are not published, not listed anywhere public, and not reachable by guessing a web address.

Text messages

We do not sell your mobile number. We do not share your mobile number, or the fact that you agreed to be texted, with anyone else for their marketing. Consent to receive texts from us is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

If you give us your number, we may text you about your repair — a reminder before your appointment, a note on the morning of it, and a message when your vehicle is ready. Expect a handful of messages per repair, not a stream.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. That applies to every kind of message we send, permanently, and you do not need to give a reason. Reply HELP for contact details. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.

We will only text you marketing — anything that is not about a repair you have already asked us for — if you have separately agreed to it, and stopping those is the same STOP.

Email

We email you about your repair: confirming what we received, the price range, appointment reminders, and when the vehicle is ready. Those are part of the job you asked us to do.

Anything else — a note asking whether you still want that estimate, or a request for a review — carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of it. It will not stop the messages about a repair that is actually underway, because those are the ones you need.

Who else sees your information

The companies that run parts of this system on our behalf:

  • Our hosting and database providers, which store everything above.
  • Google, which analyses damage photos to produce the price range.
  • Our email provider, which delivers the messages we send you.
  • Our text-messaging provider, which delivers texts and receives your replies.
  • Our scheduling provider, when you book an appointment online.

Each of them handles the information only to do that job for us. We do not sell your information to anybody, and we do not hand it over for anyone else’s advertising.

If your repair involves an insurance claim, we will exchange the information the claim requires with your insurer — that is the nature of a claim, and you can ask us what was shared.

How long we keep it

We keep the record of a repair for as long as we need it — to stand behind our work, to answer a question about a job we did, and to meet the record-keeping a business is required to do.

If you want your information removed, call us and ask. We will tell you honestly what we can delete and what we have to keep, and why.

Changes to this page

If we change how any of this works, we change this page. The date at the top is when it was last reviewed, not when the file was last edited — if the date has not moved, nothing on this page has.
